Nice food and staff

We arrived for lunch around 2pm. Waitress was very friendly, even though we didn't speak French. Menu did reflect diner food. Burgers, fries, sandwiches. Very generous portions. Enough to feed 2! Food is decent. I would recommend the onion soup. Service a little slow but maybe because we had late lunch.

I visit my old town every year and never miss the opportunity to get the best Poutine in the province. I used to spend long evenings there with my girlfriends and they were always welcoming. Great service, good traditional Canadian meals, ok price.

The food was really good! Depending on your meal, your meal may be smaller than some. Example a submarine, it is really small for the price.

Disappointed that you can't get the retro 50 breakfast plate between 11:30am and 1:30pm. Eggs under cooked and bacon almost raw (I think it was microwave bacon). Will not be going back! :( Baked beans were good.

Every meal was amazing and the place had a really nice style. I would recommend that place to anyone.

A 50s style deli in Rimouski. Their opening ours are convenient for a late snack.

Nothing special about the food. Music does not fit the retro atmosphere. Waitress got us a hot chocolate instead of a chocolate milk and complained she'd have to throw it away. I'm sure it was just a package. My sweet n' sour sauce for my chicken fingers tasted like plum sauce. Not an authentic place. Wouldn't recommend it.

REALLY REALLY GOOD QUEBECOIS FOOD, Very beautiful diner and very helpful staff. Food was incredible and everything was themed like the fifties. Music, tables, decor, even a karaoke machine. Another aspect that makes this town a hidden gem!

Place was quiet, food was alright but it's just a restaurant you have to go to in this city.

Breakfast very good and very abundant, a little long in the service but maybe it was just a case. Beautiful location with Elvis photos and a real juke box

Très déçu, ont n'a eu un bon service, mais les assiettes pas à la hauteur d'un bon resto, un omelette qui n'a que 2 oeufs et le prix très élevé, des crêpes trop cuite et un peu sec, déçu du prix des assiettes versus la présentation et le goût

First time eating here and we ordered the table d'hôte smoke meat for lunch. Pretty good portion. I definitely recommend it.

Guitarist when he does not put on his boxing gloves the man is always in shape and likes to talk with people.Do not miss !And it's a restaurant open from 6am in the morning!We like a lot!:)

Good service and good meal, I must remove a star for the "sacrilege" with bacon ... from now on they serve paper bacon, like many other establishments it's time, I must add them to my "bacon blacklist". .. bacon lovers do not waste your time, I will probably not go back ... but for others who are not bacon lovers like me you will certainly have a good meal and good service, I recommend it !

Great food (especially the burgers and the stuffed potato peels), but the service was unusually long.

A first for the Retro 50, simply WOW. Thank you Gwen for the good service and thank you the kitchen for the good food. After five canteen coffees I may go to Peter at the Fret, but it's serious spa haha. It starts bin a day entka ok chow.
